Join us for an unforgettable night of music, mischief, and masterful performance at Wizbang Theatre, where the absurd meets the sublime and the Spirit Room keeps the drinks flowing.
Curtis Eller is no ordinary banjo player. A songwriter, dancer, and storyteller with a flair for the dramatic, Eller is a beloved showbiz veteran who began his career as a juggler and acrobat at the tender age of seven—only to trade it all in for the banjo because, as he puts it, “that’s where the money is.” For over thirty years, he’s haunted the burlesque houses, beer halls, underground theatres, and punk rock shitholes of North America, Europe, and Australia. With his wild-eyed energy and legendary performances, he once earned the moniker: “New York’s angriest yodeling banjo player.” Expect grit, wit, and a show you won’t soon forget.
Opening the night is the endlessly inventive MK Lebeaux, whose one-of-a-kind physical comedy has wowed audiences on the street, under canvas, on screen, and across theatrical stages. Most recently featured at the 2024 International BorderLight Theatre Festival, MK’s solo show Goes Without Saying brought the house down under the Wizbang Circus tent in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square District. Their 30-minute act is packed with wordless wonder, comedic whimsy, and heartfelt hilarity—once described by a reviewer as “a beautiful show… I didn’t want it to end!”
Come for the laughs, stay for the stories, and make a night of it with cocktails from the Spirit Room.
This is Wizbang at its finest.
