Ladies and gentlemen, you're invited to Professional Fool, a one-woman show featuring artwork by Cleveland Institute of Art junior Annie O'Brien. Where woman meets clown and performance meets professional, femininity is defined—preserving the past and advancing what's to come.
Professional Fool will take place from 7 to 9pm Saturday, April 27 at Wizbang Theatre (2134 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights). O'Brien will take the stage in a different way and welcome guests to a showing of her visual artwork, which is inspired by her performance background. It promises to be a one-of-a-kind event that only Wizbang Theatre could present.
Enjoy the fine libations of Wizbang’s Spirit Room Cocktail Bar while you view the artwork and have a chance to meet the artist. There will be 10 drinks severed in a limited-edition hand-blown glass made by the O'Brien. These exclusive glasses will be yours for a special price. Prints of O'Brien's artwork will also be for sale.
This exhibition concept was created through CIA's Creativity Works program, which is made possible by the generous support of the Fenn Educational Fund and the G.R. Lincoln Family Foundation. Creativity Works is a self-initiated internship program with the goal of supporting a student's professional development. Participating students create proposals that align with their long-term professional goals.
