Ive never screamed for joy reading an email until a response came in from Creatures of Yes. Our absolutely favorite online puppet show that we stumbled upon during Covid Lockdown. Brilliant, heart quenchingly surreal and funny we are honoured to have its creator, accomplished artist Jacob Graham come in from Brooklyn.

Join us for the screening of Come On Back! The Movie, the highly anticipated first feature-length film from the beloved Creatures of Yes. This special event will celebrate years of imaginative storytelling and showcase the culmination of a storyline that has captivated audiences.

The evening will feature a live talk by artist Jacob Graham, the visionary creator behind Creatures of Yes. Graham will share insights into the creative process, accompanied by a display of puppets from the series, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the artistry that brings these characters to life.

In addition to the feature presentation, the event will include a selection of short films, giving attendees a chance to experience even more of the distinctive charm and creativity that define the Creatures of Yes.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to engage with the artist, explore the magic of puppetry, and enjoy an inspiring night of film and creativity.

Doors open at 8pm and the presentation will begin at 8:30

The Creatures of Yes is a puppet video series made by Jacob Graham (known for his recent collaboration with the artist Marina Abamovic) and Stoph Scheer (a performer for Henson’s Puppet Up improv show and puppeteer on The Muppets Electric Mayhem). The series was originally part of the VICE Creators Project and has appeared in many film festivals around the world.

Come On Back! The Movie is the Creatures of Yes’ first feature length film and is the culmination of a story line that has been years in the making; a beloved character was put to death by the censors of film and television for living openly as a homosexual in 1975 and now the inhabitants of The Village of Yesterday’s Promise and attempting to bring him back with science, sorcery, or by any means necessary.
